In order to extend research benefits to grass root level farmers, we encourage research activities involved with many issues, including producing food, creating healthier food, managing the environmental impact of agriculture, and extracting energy from plants. Major attention is on a technology of producing and using plants for food, fuel, fiber, and land reclamation etc.
Also, our interest encompasses to work in the areas of plant genetics, plant physiology and soil science and nano-technology.
Increased crop yields and improved nutritional value of a variety of crops, integrated pest management are the other interests. Establishing micropropagation of economically important crops also envisaged assisting farmers with disease-free seeds and better yields.
