Dr. Saurabh Shah has been presently working as a Professor and Dean (School of Technology) at GSFC University, Vadodara (Gujarat). He is a technology enthusiastic, keen to promote the technologies in enhancing the teaching-learning and has executed many such projects during his journey at various organizations. In his previous assignments, he handled the key responsibilities as a Director (PG Studies & Research), Director (Academics & Skill Development) and Dean (Faculty of Technology) at C. U. Shah University, Gujarat. He also worked as a Dean at Babaria Institute of Technology, Vadodara and managed many administrative portfolios which include Board of Governance member, Core Committee Member, HoD for more than seven years and initiated many Department as well as Institute development activities. He received his Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering and PhD degree in Computer Engineering and has over 19 years of professional experience in Research and Academia. He is appointed by Academic Council of Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM) as a member of Board of Studies. He is a recipient of Devang Mehta Best IT Project Award and Cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh in association with NASSCOM and GIL. He has received Appreciation Award from Management of BITS Edu Campus for his noteworthy contribution. He has coordinated activities as an Executive Committee member, CSI Vadodara Chapter. He owns life membership of ISTE and CSI. He has contributed as a Technical Programme Committee(TPC) member in many reputed international conferences including IEEE, Springer and also contributed as a Reviewer in National and International Conferences/ Journals. He has more than 20 Research Publications in reputed national/international conferences and peer reviewed journals. He has delivered several lectures at Symposium/ Workshops including GUJCOST sponsored workshops. His major Research areas are Medical Image Analysis, Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition. He is a PhD Supervisor and presently supervising 07 PhD Scholars of Computer Engineering. 04 PhD candidates have been awarded PhD under his supervision at C. U. Shah University. He is also appointed as a DPC member of PhD Programme at Gujarat Technological University.
